A PT style platform truck is our welded deck design this if you require bumper and or carpet this is the style that works with our unique bumper system. Our PTF style of platform trucks are a “folded ” design and is priced more competitively with wood deck designs. No matter which style you choose they will both handle the same capacity load and are available with same handle and caster options.
The rule of thumb generally is if you are ordering a hand truck with a curved back frame because you are transporting items that are round in shape then you should go with a recessed/rear nose plate in order to take advantage of the curved back. If you are ordering a hand truck with a straight back frame then a front mount nose typically is what you would want to use.
